This evening, North American Martyrs had their Spring Music Concert...the first of its kind in a number of years :)
Breanna's 5th grade class played a number of tunes on their recorders (Dad, I'm sure you will appreciate that:)
" I'm sorry Mrs. Dodson...but you're blocking my daughter..."
Madison's 6th grade class sang a number of popular tunes: one from the musical Grease, followed by the hand-clapping and body-swaying of "Lean On Me" :)
She definitely stands out in her yellow!

They sure are growing up Mike, you have a lot to be proud of!
ReplyDeleteIt's finally kind of hit me over the past couple of blogs you've shared just how fast Madison and Breanna are growing up!!! It's crazy!!! I've only been gone for 5 months! New hair cuts, Madison's probablly taller than me ;), not to mention missing all the fun activities they've been up to! And about those posing skillzzz, I know I'm good Mike, you don't need to remind me. :) Thanks for sharing all the photos, I agree with Dad, it's nice to see what everyone is up to when you're so far away! See you this weekend though! YAY!
ReplyDeleteBack in "my day"..... the 1950s, they were called a "tonette" rather than a recorder, and were black rather than white. Wish I still had mine so I could play a tune with Breanna.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos!
