Havelock Charity Run 2010

21 years ago I ran my first road race...the Havelock Bank Run. Enter the Fleetfoot Max...an elite team of elite runners on a mission to raise money for the Friendship Home.

This past weekend, Team Sinclair Hille conquered the 3K corporate division (well...3rd place...but good all the same :) in an effort to raise money for The Matt Talbot Kitchen. Chris Beardslee and Jenni Felton ran the 10K, while Jennifer Koolen, Patrick Beardslee, myself, and Madison & Breanna rounded out the 3K team.

Crazy thing...Maddie is about the age I was when I first ran... :)

Long live the Havelock Run-

    Uncle John would be proud that the "tradition" is continuing. He really enjoyed being part of the Fleetfoot team..... especially when he could no longer participate as a runner.

    Awesome! I happened to pull out & wear my Havelock Run shirt from 1995, the last one I ran in. Sheesh even my t-shirt is older than some of the runners on your team :)
